A mild, nutty flavour popular in Mediterranean baked goods. Think Baklava or Spumoni! Pistachio flavour is great added to desserts to impart a nutty flavor. Substitute Pistachio flavor in any recipe that calls for a nut flavouring such as almond, pecan, or walnut.
Appropriate for use in chocolates and coatings, but may cause some thickening. Add liquified coconut oil, or cocoa butter to thin/smooth (typical use is ¼ to ½ teaspoon per pound).
