Nutmeg comes from an evergreen tree native to Southeast Asia. Nutmeg is a traditional spice for eggnog as well as mulled cider. It is also very popular in baking and provides a distinct flavour to cakes, puddings and custards.
For the freshest Nutmeg, we encourage our customers to buy Whole Nutmeg and grind whenever the spice is required. Nutmeg is easily ground by using a handheld grater or an electric spice grinder.
We have both Ground Nutmeg and Whole Nutmeg available.
