Masonite is an engineered wood fiberboard that is light brown in colour. These are 3/16" thick wood boards ideal for heavy or tiered cakes. Large cakes placed on Masonite cake boards will not sag in the middle when picked up. Wrap these boards in colour foil to highlight your cakes. Simply rewrap with new foil to re-use the Masonite board.
Many decorators write their names on the back of the Masonite board and charge a deposit to ensure return.
